Learn about the why's and how-to's of oral history. First of all, why it is a vital piece to capturing a complete oral history; and second, the how-to's to find success in the process. In this class we will talk about how to be prepared, the best questions to ask (or not ask) and what to do with the oral history once it is complete. We will talk about best recording tools, recording places, transcription tools and who you should interview.
