Title: The Power of Place in your Family History

Description:

What's in a place and what power does it hold in your family history? Oh so much! We will talk about how to research the places in your family history - where family lived, where important events occurred and figuring out why your family may have lived where they did. We will talk about what to look for when visiting cemeteries and the significance they hold in your family history. We will discuss the power that comes from visiting that place - either virtually or in person - and how those details and discoveries can add to your family history journey. We will discuss the process of writing about those places and the connection we feel when we do so. Come prepared for some hands-on discoveries and some encouragement to look at your family history through the places where they walked and talked.

*All classes are first come, first seated. Adding to your planner does not guarantee a seat.
